✨ General Guidelines 

• 👐 Treat with love. Your blanket is handmade and may shed slightly at first. This is normal and will reduce with time.

• 🧶 Avoid friction. Don’t tug at loose yarns; gently weave them back in with a crochet hook or finger.

• ☀️ Store loosely folded in a breathable space, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

🫧 Option 1: Hand Wash (Recommended for Longevity)

1. Fill a basin or tub with cold water.

2. Add a gentle, no-bleach detergent (baby shampoo or wool wash also works beautifully).

3. Submerge the blanket fully, gently swishing without wringing or twisting.

4. Let it soak for 20 minutes.

5. Rinse thoroughly with cold water.

6. Press out water gently, do not wring.

7. Lay flat on a dry towel or mesh surface. Reshape while damp and allow to air dry completely.

🌀 Option 2: Machine Wash (Only if Necessary)

1. Place in a mesh laundry bag (optional but recommended).

2. Use cold water on a gentle/delicate cycle.

3. Use a mild, bleach-free detergent.

4. Do NOT tumble dry. Always air dry flat to preserve shape and softness.

🚫 Avoid:

• Hot water

• Fabric softeners

• Bleach or harsh detergents

• Hanging the blanket to dry (causes stretching)

• Ironing or dry cleaning
