Maaĩ ma Thayũ means Waters of Peace in Gĩkũyũ. Thayũ carries the language of peace; a state of being settled, at ease and in right relationship.

For us, peace is not simply the absence of disturbance.

Florida Water itself has travelled across continents and generations, becoming part of numerous folk, ceremonial and spiritual practices throughout the Caribbean, the Americas and the wider African diaspora. A little care

For external ritual and cosmetic use only. Avoid eyes, mucous membranes and broken or irritated skin. Because the formula contains alcohol/essential oils, keep away from flames and store appropriately.

 

Timing

Every batch is given up to six weeks to cook & infuse. Because Maaĩ ma Thayũ is prepared in living batches rather than mass-produced, your order may be placed at the beginning, middle or nearing the completion of an infusion cycle. Each stage is intentional; your bottle carries the batch as it was when it was called to you.
