This is no ordinary blanket.
It is a velvet cloak for your body and spirit, woven for the woman returning to herself.
Each fiber whispers:
You are not lost. You are layered.
The burgundy and plum tones mimic the sacred inner earth; the womb’s remembering, the bloodlines, the shadows you’ve survived.
This blanket is for your altar naps, your journaling in the morning sun, your silent rethreading in the softness of evening.
It holds Ache. It restores voice.
It calls you back to the warmth you once abandoned.
And now, it is yours again.
A sacred thread for the woman who no longer rushes her return.
✨ General Guidelines
-
👐 Treat with love. Your blanket is handmade and may shed slightly at first. This is normal and will reduce with time.
-
🧶 Avoid friction. Don’t tug at loose yarns; gently weave them back in with a crochet hook or finger.
-
☀️ Store loosely folded in a breathable space, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
🫧 Option 1: Hand Wash (Recommended for Longevity)
-
Fill a basin or tub with cold water.
-
Add a gentle, no-bleach detergent (baby shampoo or wool wash also works beautifully).
-
Submerge the blanket fully, gently swishing without wringing or twisting.
-
Let it soak for 20 minutes.
-
Rinse thoroughly with cold water.
-
Press out water gently, do not wring.
-
Lay flat on a dry towel or mesh surface. Reshape while damp and allow to air dry completely.
🌀 Option 2: Machine Wash (Only if Necessary)
-
Place in a mesh laundry bag (optional but recommended).
-
Use cold water on a gentle/delicate cycle.
-
Use a mild, bleach-free detergent.
-
Do NOT tumble dry. Always air dry flat to preserve shape and softness.
🚫 Avoid:
-
Hot water
-
Fabric softeners
-
Bleach or harsh detergents
-
Hanging the blanket to dry (causes stretching)
-
Ironing or dry cleaning
